Fred Frimpong popularly known as Freddie is a commercial Gospel Artist from Ghana West Africa. Freddie was born on 9th July,1986 in the Ashanti Region,Ghana west Africa.Freddie is a renowned versatile songwriter and singer who does Gospel music to evangelize and win souls for the kingdom of God.Unlike most Artists,Freddie an indigenous Ashanti who sings in the Ghanaian local language and uses traditional instruments to formulate Hilife music to attract followers to his noble Brand and also maintain the natural form of our Ghanaian music.
Basically, Freddy started the music journey at a very tender age in the basic school at Kurofa in the Asante Akyem District. His desire for music has been unquenchable from infancy.Academically Freddy has learnt and has left no stone unturned as he went through Government Technical Training centre in Accra as an under training future engineer.Freddie furthered to the Kumasi Technical university where he obtained his higher Diploma Freddie currently works with UNIVERSAL ENGINEERING AND CONSULTANCY SERVICES LTD as an Engineer.All these years, Freddy was glued to his musical passion, learning how to play musical instruments ,writing songs and doing demos from one studio to the other making sure that his music career would climb to the Apex some day.
Freddy Obtained his bachelor degree from the university of Education, winneba on the Kumasi campus in the Ashanti region.Freddie now, has chosen to chase his passion full time because he was driven daily by the desire to showcase his inner musical gift to the living and future generations.Despite his higher Educational background as a qualified and professional Electrical Engineer ,Freddie has chosen to do music officially and very eager to explore the brighter and Business aspect of the music fraternity.
Freddie has two(2) official albums out already on the Market Wadi afe which was outdoored in 2019 & Time Aso Album in 2022 .Artists featured on the album include Legendary Kofi B of blessed Memory , Ernest Opoku , Kwaku Gyasi , de Lyon , Odehyeba Priscilla and many others.Freddie has beautiful songs to his credit which are gradually dominating in the Ghanaian music industry.His family life has been an awesome and success story.Freddie happily tied the knot in the year 2017 to Mrs Matilda Frimpong and presently has a beautiful daughter Michealla. Freddie musically has good trending songs like Time Aso, Aseda ben which features Ghana’s renowned Gospel hero Kwaku Gyasi, Wadi afe with the hilife Legendary Kofi B of blessed Memory.
Freddie Frimpong has formulated and performed at these huge events Wadi afe Album Launch which took place in Kumasi on November 10,2018.On Easter Sunday in April 2021 he successfully hosted Time Aso Album Launch which has a huge attendance .Freddie eyes the future with lots of excitement and greatness.
