Antwi Ankoma Pinamang (Graphytie) born to Mr Ankoma Christian (PAA ROCKY) and Aba Williams (AUNTIE BLAKIE) in the western region of Ghana started music in church as a baritone singer in the church choir and also a drummer (congas).
He later started piano lessons which he never completed in the year 2009 at the methodist church in Akyim Pramkese, while he was still a brass band member at the Kade NewMan preparatory school in Akyim Kade,Ghana. At that time he played in the church choir singing chorus and hymns from the methodist hymnal (e.g. CAN ) as well as playing for enjoyment.
He later discovered himself and took his music serious by singing in his mother tongue “Twi” and
started showcasing this amazing talent in the Ghanaian music genre called “Twi pop”. It has its’ roots from the Ghanaian and Nigerian highlife music blending it with hip hop rhythm (American) producing a unique sounds such as Afrobeats, Azonto, Shoki and a lot more liked by many people in Ghana, Nigeria and abroad.
