Theo Bessem is a Worship Pastor, Singer/Songwriter, Recording Artist, Worship Leading Mentor and Trainer.

For over 25 years, Pastor Theo has had the privilege of leading worship and ministering in song in various countries, churches, and conferences with international headline speakers. She considers herself blessed to be used as a servant of the Most High King in leading His people to His throne in worship. Her continued passion is to see the Body of Christ come together to experience true worship on a highly intimate level.

Pastor Theo is of Ghanaian heritage but currently resides in Vancouver, Canada where God called her and her family in 2013 to migrate from the UK. She is the Worship Pastor at Calvary Worship Centre, a multi-cultural, non-denominational church with over 1000 members from over 110 nations. She has served in this ministry for over 19 years and has been instrumental in mentoring worship leaders and teams both at Calvary and beyond.

Pastor Theo is passionate about mentoring and training up and coming worship leaders, helping them become all that God has called them to be. To this end, she has written an e-book available on Amazon, and has developed an online worship leading course where she draws from decades of worship ministry in churches of all shapes and sizes. She provides a path to understanding the spiritual and practical best practices for worship leaders and worship leading.

In her music career, Pastor Theo has produced 2 Singles: “Egya” and “Shoulder to Shoulder”, 2 studio Albums: “This Far by Faith” and “Created to Worship”, as well as 2 Eps: “Living God” and “Hallelujah”. “Hallelujah” was recorded live in concert and the Single “Be Lifted High (Live)” from this EP, was released on April 11, 2020. 95% of Pastor Theo’s songs are self-penned songs of worship and inspiration. Pastor Theo is currently working on more material, so watch this space.
