Get Familiar with Ras EllaBaby
Full name is EMMANUELLA AMA FRIMPONG, music name Ras Ellababy. She is the 4th born among 6 children and was born on 11th February, 1994.
She started her early childhood life at the Northern Part Of Ghana where she lived with her grandparents and attended Fountain Gate International school for her Primary and Junior High School.
She then proceeded to Yaa Asantewaa Girls’ Senior High where she did Visual Arts. Ras Ellababy was a prefect in Yaa Asantewaa. After high school, she went further to the University Of Education-Kumasi campus where she read Bsc IT. Ras Ellababy graduated in 2018.
Music has been part of her family but for her it started way younger when she started to sing in her grandpa’s church in Bolgatanga. Ras Ellababy isn’t only a singer but a dynamic drummer who plays both brass and jazz sets. She also into sound engineering and fixing of sound systems.
She collaborated with Kwame Eugene to officially release first single, STARTING TODAY, in 2014. Even though the song was a dope, she was not discovered and she had to still work harder to be seen in the lime light.
She went on to release her hit songs KATAPOT, GLOW, KOFI and OLUWA all of which have videos on YouTube and are on all digital music platforms.
Ras Ellababy got so much in her. She is an editor for the only kids channel in Ghana, a photographer, videographer, director and a YouTuber (RasVlogs).
She has shared stages with the likes of Stonebwoy, Kofi Kinaata, Opanka, Kwame Eugene. She would love to work with Wizkid, Mayunkun, Teni, Davido, Shatta Wale, Manifest, Darkovibes, KiDi and Eno and many more in the future.
