I Didn’t Sign Any Contract With You – Ay Poyoo’s Former Record Label Fires Back
Former Record Label and management Aborga Records of comedian cum comic rapper AY Poyoo has hit back at him after his recent allegations.
Poyoo had earlier in a video trending online accused Aborga Records of deleting his songs from online platforms after parting ways.
Responding to the allegations, the label boss in a Facebook post revealed how he decided to help the rapper without any strict contractual obligations and agreements.
According to him, he chose to help Poyoo after the latter came to him begging after his manager dumped him.
The label boss who is now pained for the act’s “ungratefulness” revealed that before and after his breakthrough song ‘goat’, there was no contract signed between them.

I don’t know if it’s your new label asking you to say this or you’re struggling to make the lies you told them become your truth?
- ‘‘Before and After producing “GOAT” I did not sign anything with you. You came to me claiming your manager dumped you. All i wanted for you is bounce back and work with any label interested in you.’‘
- ”I disclosed that I signed you because an “Investor” insisted that is the only way they can get involved. We agreed, signed and presented it. After back and forths which I don’t want to go into, we (You Poyoo and I) decided to start pushing without them.”
”Note, your accomodation and the investor negotiation is what made you stop music for a year. I paid a song writer and for the whole production. It’s titled “Blessings”. We started releasing singles “Commot For There” and “Better Than”. Both with Videos.”

When I asked you to do away with the chains and upgrade your identity, you never liked the idea. Oh, I forgot… After renting a place for you, I gave you pocket money every month. 1,500 and sometimes 2000 GHc.
I thought you wanted out when I started sending you monthly financial reports. (Earnings and expenses) with screenshots.
- I finally decided to hand over your socials including the verified page. I peacefully asked you to change passwords which you did in the next 3 minutes. I was surprised at the speed!
I personally guided you on how to change your bank account details on YouTube. I handed over everything in your name.
- I did not delete the songs because you left. Lol i downloaded them and closed the distrokid account cos I was still paying for it monthly. I was paying for it since the release of “GOAT”. The songs are sitting on my desktop.
- You started hacking my emails and trying to get into my closed distrokid account. You had my password so you tried. I changed them the minute you changed yours. I guess we’re all fast.
I warned you and you laughed it off. Then you did it again. I blocked you. End of story.
I know you’ll say it’s a lie but God is my witness. You Poyoo? God forgive you challe.
