My Deals Were Blocked Because I Refused to Offer Men Sex- Yemi Alade
Nigerian Afrobeats songstress Yemi Alade has made shocking revelations concerning how she made it to the top in the industry as a female.
According to the ‘Johnny’ hitmaker, there was a time in her career every man wanted to sleep with her before giving her an opportunity.
Speaking in a recent interview monitored by Ghflamez, she stressed that many deals and opportunities were blocked from reaching her because she refused exchanging sexual offers for them.
She attributed snubs by influencers and award schemes in the industry against her craft to her refusal to grant men sexual offers.
Narrating her ordeal, she stressed that despite the agenda against her, she has her dignity and life and also making money.
“There was a time in the industry when everyone wanted to sleep with me and it was like, ’Yemi, if you don’t do this, you won’t have that’ , going down with men was like a bridge I had to cross to get on some platforms, get some deals and even awards. When I made my decision never to engage in sxual activities for gains, lots of opportunities were automatically blocked for me.

Even during twitter debates, no one mentions Yemi Alade as one of the biggest female artistes in Nigeria. They really blocked everything for me. But I’m glad coz I have my dignity, I have my life, I’m making cool cash and above all, I have fans who love me so much…” the singer narrated.
