Nollywood Legend Amaechi Muonagor Dies At 61 After Battling Kidney Failure
Nigerian actor and Nollywood legend Amaechi Muonagor has died after battling with illness for several months.
The sad and heartbreaking news surfaced and trended on various social media platforms on 24th March 2024.
The actor died after battling with kidney complications and being placed on dialysis.
Earlier in a video that was shared online prior to his passing, the thespian was seen soliciting for funds for a kidney transplant after exhausting his own resources.
The immediate late Amaechi passed at age 61.
Fans and movie lovers worldwide have reacted sadly and sorrowfully to the sad incident, remembering some of his comic and iconic movie scenes.
Reacting in a social media post, social commentator Morris Monye wrote;
” Deeply heartbroken by the news of Amaechi Muonagor’s passing. He was a talented Nollywood actor whose presence on our screens was truly masterful.“We watched with concern as he battled health issues, offering whatever support we could to help him seek treatment in India. This tragic loss highlights the need for better healthcare in our country.”
