Upclose With Da’great
Great Akhimien popularly known as Da’Great is a fast rising Musician in Africa specifically from the Federal state,Nigeria. Da’great was born 1st March,1991. He was born and raised in the Edo state in Nigeria. At his early stage, he schooled at State of Origin basic schooled at Esan South East Local Government Authority School.
Right from infancy, the zeal to do music was found in all his activities he carried out. At Age ten, he could sing very well, especially songs composed by popular musicians which was played on TV and Radios. Its an undisputable fact that ,he entered studio and recorded his maiden masterpiece at the tender age ten while he was still in the basic School at Oghenyen primary school. Most teachers admired him because of his relented ability especially Mrs Johnson, his primary school facilitator who most times encouraged him to take music serious and do it whole heartedly.
In 2011, he move from Edo state to the capital city Lagos where he was trained to become a music producer by one renowned Music Mystro Mr. La Daniel Godwin. This man really trained him for some few years under his roof and no sooner Da’great picked up at a faster pace. Da’great also learnt a lot from his god father, Mr. Daniel Godwin, popularly known as Wheenz Beatz.
Fast forward, Da’great is now one of the popular producers rated in Nigeria and doubles as a songwriter and singer. He currently owns his own well equipped studio which has produced a couple of talented arts in the country. Da’great has worked and produced remarkable records for the likes of Caxtro Blade, Mr. Rex, Armstrong, Mkg, Wheenz beatz, Ray Jeezy, Whisper spring, Terminator and a Ghanaian songstress Shatty Banks.
